Dr. Bato is from Mangatarem , Pangasinan , Philippines . He attended medical school at the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center in Manila . He had his residency training in General Surgery at San Juan De Dios Hospital and training in cosmetic Surgery with the famed Dr. Wilfredo Salapantan. He is married to Carmencita Espina with four children, Ryan, Romeo J r. , Charmagne and Caria Rose. Dr. Bato has been in practice since 1988.
He is a member and fellow of International and local organizations like the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, Philippine Academy of Aesthetic Surgery, Philippine Association of Medical Specialist, Philippine Society of Liposuction Surgery, Philippine Medical Association.
He is an active consultant at St. Dominic Medical Center Department of Surgery, Active Faculty Member ofCosmetic Surgery Training Program, Philippine Academy of Aesthetic Surgery.
He is a Hair Transplant Surgeon at Nuhart Clinic ,Wynsum Bldg. Ortigas Center Pasig City. Clinica Manila.
